An East coaster by birth, after studying photography in Philadelphia, I followed my love for the outdoors to the Great American West. I've now spent the last 8 years working in the outdoor industry in Arizona, California, and Washington. I've sold gear to beginners and experts alike, I've taught adults how to ride bikes and follow a compass, and I've showed people the magic of the backcountry. All this time I've been taking photos along the way as a fine art photographer.
